Running is a ton of FUN and so good for your full body health! The trick is preparing your mind and body so you can enjoy the exercise and your body can achieve the maximum benefit. This running program will help prepare you for the Half-Marathon or 10k portion of the race. Tina Kunstbeck, our Race Director, will design a program based on your needs and schedule. Price includes entry fee for the race.

The Hollidaysburg Area YMCA holds eight races throughout the year. Proceeds from these events benefit our Community Support Campaign which helps fund programs for youth, seniors, teens and families in the Hollidaysburg Area. Your race entry fee will help to continue this support in our community.
Our team challenge offers individuals the opportunity to add excitement, team building and good-natured competition to the workplace, club or group. The team challenge is another way individuals can participate in the Community Wellness Challenge Series designed to promote overall health and well being. Instead of training and competing alone, you form a group of up to ten people to train and compete together.
Now is the time to accept the challenge and commit to compete in all 8 of our races in the 2016 Race Series. You will be guaranteed a race T-shirt for each race, an "I committed to all 8" drawstring bag, receive courtesy email reminders, discount pricing and stress free registration. ONLY ALL 8 PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A HOODED SWEATSHIRT FOR THE TWILIGHT RACE.

It's time to celebrate your accomplishments! As a 2015 race participant you are invited to attend our Community Wellness Challenge Series Finale' Celebration and Awards Ceremony at the Hollidaysburg Area YMCA. There will be an awards presentation, series standings, highlights from our 2015 series as well as light refreshments. We will also have 2016 registration opportunities. We strongly encourage all participants to be in attendance as we will be taking photos of our award winners.
