POLAR BEAR PLUNGE!!

Plunge participants take a quick dip in the freezing water of Canoe Creek State Park to raise funds for The Hollidaysburg Area YMCA Annual Appeal Campaign,
devoted to giving back to our community by making sure everyone; regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. With just $50 in pledges, all participants receive a commemorative Polar Bear Plunge t-shirt and the great feeling of freezing your “tail” off for a truly worthy cause. Plus, the more money Plungers raise, the more Polar Bear Plunge gear they can get – like drawstring backpacks, warm cozy bath towels, the chance to win YMCA memberships and much more!
EVENT RULES:
All plungers must be at least 13 years of age
A minimum of $50 (per participant) in donations is required and must be submitted with the completed registration form.
All plungers must wear closed toe shoes.
Teams MUST have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 25 team members (all team members must fill out a registration form).
Individual participants may not participate on a team.
PRE-PLUNGE PIZZA PARTY:
Friday, December 16: 5:00PM to 6:00PM
Come to the Hollidaysburg Area YMCA to drop off your money and registration forms. While you are there pick-up your t-shirt and enjoy some pizza. All plungers that are pre-registered by December 13th will be entered to win a summer family pool membership at the Bellwood Pool.

SUPER PLUNGERS CONTEST:
Take the Plunge 3 times in memory of a loved one or a service member. All super plungers must raise a minimum of $300.
