The Hollidaysburg Area YMCA Child Care Programs provide support to working parents who are looking for sun, safe, affordable, and high quality care for their children. All Hollidaysburg Child Care programs are fully licensed by the state of Pennsylvania. The Y Children's Center is located 3 miles from downtown Hollidaysburg on Reservoir Road in front of Frankstown Elementary School. The Hollidaysburg Area School District in partnership with the Hollidaysburg Area YMCA and Blair County Head Start have created this exciting after-school program for elementary age students in 3rd and 6th grades. Twenty-first Century Community Learning Center programs are a key component of President George Bush's "No Child Left Behind Act." Located at Foot of Ten Elementary School and C.W. Longer Elementary School, students learn new skills and discover new abilities after the school day ends. An emphasis is placed on the academic advancement of students in a relaxed, fun environment.

| This program provides a quality preschool for children ages 3 to 5 years. A caring staff will offer a structured program that follows the guidelines set forth by the Tyrone Area School District's Pre-K program. This program is designed to prepare your child socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically for kindergarten. Each day will also include free play. The preschool calendar follows the Tyrone Area School District calendar. | |

Mommy & Me Playgroup |

| A popular innovative playgroup for toddlers (ages 18 months to 3 years) and their moms, dads, or grandparents (one adult per child per class). Interactive play, songs, finger plays, games, and art projects are a sample of what is included. Mom, dad, or grandparent will be an active participant. Milk and snacks will be provided. | |

Next Step Preschool Program |

| An extension of our popular Kinder Club Preschool Program, this class meets four days a week and is designed for those students, ages 4 and 5, who are preparing for Kindergarten. The Next Step Program prepares the child who seems to need just one more year to mature or the late birthday child who may not meet age requirements for Kindergarten. |
