Clinic will be run by HAYFA coaches, high school players, Y staff, and more. Learn and develop the fundamentals and skills of OFFENSE & DEFENSE in this 6 week program designed for the football player of any level.

SESSION: April 20 to May 18

TRACK AND FIELD

Ages: 7-13 years

The focus on the 1st session is on instruction of fundamentals and proper techniques of running, jumping and throwing. We will work on skill development and conditioning based on individual age and abilities. If interested, session 1 participants will be able to take part in the annual Mountain Top Track and Field Invitational in Cresson on June 13.

The focus of the 2nd session is solely running and technique. This will cover starts, finishes, stride, approaches to different distances, and more. As with the 1st session, it is open to beginners as well as experienced runners looking to improve. Registration for the 2nd session includes the fee to participate in the Open Track Meet, June 27, which will count as part of the program.

IN THE MONTH OF APRIL

The Hollidaysburg Area School’s Art and Music students will be performing and sharing their talents and creativity throughout our Y during the month of April. The Frankstown Chorus will be performing, March 31 at 7:00PM, to kick off our art celebration at the Y. Everyone is welcome to attend celebrating the arts in our  schools and community.
